At this year's E3 press event, Microsoft announced a new Bandai Namco game. This game brings a list of famous anime and manga protagonists together to duke it out in a way only internet forums fantasized about. Coming in 2019 is Jump Force, the Shounen Jump battle game.

The trailer begins with a desolate cityscape. Fire and ruins accent the area as, one by one, we see well-known characters such as Naruto, Luffy, Goku, and more make their way toward each other. Fists fly as they brawl in free-for-all combat.

What a better way to conclude the trailer than with Light Yagami and Ryuk, of Death Note fame, standing atop a stray building?

Shonen Jump is the world's largest manga magazine subscription service available. They're home to all of these characters, and the series from which they hail. Using this, we can take a few guesses as to which characters we didn't see, but might expect in the full game. I have my cards set on Bobobo Bo Bobobo, though Yoh Asakura from Shaman King seems far more likely.

Jump Force will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pricing and release date remain a mystery at this time.
