Doom is well known and praised for its amazing soundtrack, but fans have been unable to find somewhat of an eerie easter egg hidden within one of the channels of a stereo drone track.  During a GDC conference, composer Mick Gordon dropped the bomb on an undiscovered easter egg hidden within the Doom soundtrack.  This creepy easter egg is a cheeky reference to the fundamental Christians during the early days of metal between the 70's and 80's.  Gorden hid a voiceover in the soundtrack that if played in mono and in reverse, plays the message "Jesus Loves You".

While it's not really a satanic message, it still sounds like something a creepy demon would whisper to you in a dark chasm.  As ominous as it sounds, nobody was able to find it to date, and Gorden couldn't help but spill the beans.

Do you know how many news websites wrote about that one? said Gordon, Friggin none!

Well, Gordon, I'm happy to help out.  Gordon explained that 4/5 easter eggs in the soundtrack were discovered shortly after launch, but for whatever reason, this hilarious easter egg escaped everybody's gaze. Demonic messages are deep rooted in the original Doom, and its nice to see that they're sticking to tradition.  Just don't let you Christian parents catch you listening to the soundtrack.
