Exciting E3 news for Halo Fans but then, it is Microsoft's press conference and it would be genuinely baffling if there WASN'T exciting news for Halo fans. A giant anthology of Halo games, one to four with updated graphics and frame rate, will soon be released for the Xbox One. Check out the trailer.

Now, while this is pretty neat, its probably not the news fans were HOPING forgiven that Halo 5 Guardians had been pushed back until 2015, we wont be getting much besides a trailer (below) and a little more information concerning the Multiplayer Beta;

But wait, there is good news still: in the same breath as the announcement of the Halo Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries also told the crowd that beta keys for the prologue and multiplayer of Halo 5.

"The Master Chief Collection is massive. It includes Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4. But as we've said before, this isn't just about the past, it's actually about the path reconnecting the past to the future," Bonnie Ross, general manager of 343 Industries, said. "Surrounding games 1-4, we have a new epilogue and a prologue to leading up to Halo 5: Guardians."

But it's more than just a remake, obviously.  Interestingly, the multiplayer for all the games will be included (as well as all the DLC), which means every map ever released will be at players fingertips but even more interestingly 343 Industries is keeping the original engines for each one.  Which means the gameplay, outside improved graphics, will be identical to the originals.

Even better, every mission at every difficulty will be available the moment you pop in the disk: so if there was a mission in Halo 3 you really wanted to re-play, you don't have to play through the rest of the game or the rest of the first two to get at it!  So it'll basically be a must-have for any Xbox One owner.

It will be released for $59.99 on November 11th of this year.
