Goat Simulator was an accident. It was a supposed to be a joke and of course turned into something unstoppable. The sole creator of the oddly anticipated title announced the release date of the game today.

Coffee Stain Studios recently released a pre-order trailer for the goofy game. Goat Simulator lets you inhabit the life of a goat with a long, grappling tongue. As you explore a small goat friendly area you can run, jump, and lick to your hearts content. There is no goal, no objectives, just causing havoc as, well... a goat.

As you can tell, this is a highly polished game. If watching the trailer wasn't evidence enough the fact that "Goat Simulator is a small, broken, and stupid game" per the creator. Then considering he actually asks you to "spend your $10 on a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe a real-life goat," should give you an basic idea of how the game will run.

Despite the above disclaimers, the pre-order trailer has gained 2.8 million views, and Goat Simulator will release on April 1, 2014. If you pre-order the game you'll be granted early access, three days before the official release.
