After a day of silence, Fortnite has returned. But the world we once knew is gone, replaced by a fresh new landscape. Introducing Fortnite Chapter 2.

Over the weekend, the popular battle royale game had "died." The conclusion of their Season 11 event ended with a black hole absorbing literally everything. The game was unplayable. After about 24 hours, the black hole spit out a new world and a new trailer, watchable below.

This perfectly aligns with the leak we talked about previously. Fortnite Chapter 2 features a new battle island, with a slew of new features.

This time around Epic did not release any patch notes. So we have to parse out what's new for ourselves. Some new features were in the trailer, some we found on our own. Here are a few of those things.
  • New skins and unlockables
  • Fishing rods, the ability to fish, and actual fish that restore health
  • Boats for water travel
  • Help downed teammates move faster
While there's more, we're still finding it out. In the meantime, what better to do than enjoy the new season and all of the items and challenges that come with it?
