Fortnite Introduces The "Port-A-Fortress" with Latest Update

It's like the Port-A-Fort, with more Fort.

Another patch has been released for the popular Battle Royale game, Fortnite. Properly titled as "v5.41," the update's main focus is put on the new Port-a-Fortress grenade item, though a number of other changes have come to Battle Royale and Save the World both.

So what IS the Port-a-Fortress? This item operates much like the previously released Port-a-Fort item. When the user throws it, a structure is instantly built wherever it lands. The original Port-a-Fort item would build a narrow, yet tall tower to give instant high ground. The Port-a-Fortress is far beefier, being three times as large.

What? Is that not enough? Alright then, let me tell you about the Spiky Stadium. If you're playing in Playground mode, you can find a new consumable item that will spawn a 7x11 stadium, with the central arena surrounded by spike walls. The deployable item can be found in red Supply Drops, exclusively in Playground.

The update also introduces a new limited time game mode: Soaring Solos. This mode allows users to re-deploy their air gliders whenever they press jump at a high height. Otherwise, it's a normal Solo game mode.
