When I used to play Sonic Adventure as a kid, I spent a lot of time in the Chao Garden. I always loved raising them, training them, and competing with them. It was, at times, more fun than the actual adventures I was supposed to be doing with Sonic. If you find yourself to be in the same boat as me, I have incredible news.

A fan of Sonic names Nafault1st has just released a game for free on Mac and PC called Chao Resort Island. All you do in this pixelated masterpiece is raise, train, and race your little Chao. From stat-enhancing fruit to cosmetic items, this game let's you have a ton of fun with your little Chao.

While making sure your Chao is in a good mood and has a full stomach, you can level up its power, swimming, flying, running, and stamina. In the race, players have the opportunity to use up to stamina to boost the Chao. Aside from that, the rest is all up to your little critter to power his or her way to victory!

Check out a soundtrack from the game down below!
