Those who are worried about Deux Ex having died without dignity, fret no more because Deus Ex... has yet to die.

According to PCGamesN, and as retweeted by the official Deus Ex profile on Twitter, the series is not dead. Here's the exact quote, as tweeted:

"We talked with Eidos Montreal studio head David Anfossi about the next Tomb Raider game, and during our time with him we asked about the status of Deus Ex. His reply was adamant - "Deus Ex is not dead, I confirm that."

Well, that's great, right? So would we see one soon?

Unfortunately, no.

Because Eidos Montreal is so busy with Shadow of the Tomb Raider - that's not a gripe, because I'm looking forward to Shadow of the Tomb Raider - as well as The Avengers title and one other unknown title. So, unfortunately, they have their hands full. So will we see Deus Ex anytime soon? Nah, but we will see something down the line. Maybe in a few years. Maybe a decade.
