There are lots happening with Final Fantasy lately. We have an onslaught of amazing footage from Final Fantasy VII, the official launch trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, a new, decent-looking mobile title set in the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius universe...

And then you have what many have begged for on Twitter:

Final Fantasy freakin' VIII.

Yes, Square Enix has listened after loyal fans everywhere replied to its tweets with nothing but Final Fantasy VIII desires and memes by bringing Final Fantasy VIII Remastered to platforms.

But when will we see this title?

....Sometime later this year. I am not sure when.

I, for one, cannot wait.

It may not be my favorite, but it is loved all the same.

Final Fantasy VIII is heading to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
