Well we have good news and bad news. The good news? The year long wait for new footage of Halo Infinite is over! The bad news? We have to wait until Holiday 2020 until the game actually comes out. Ugh!

Without further delay, here is the new trailer:

The trailer doesn't show much in the way of story but it does seem like it will focus on some new characters and perhaps conclude the Masterchief and Cortana storyline.

This story will mark the beginning of a new chapter and challenge for the Chief, but it will also respect and continue threads that led to this point, said Chris Lee, studio head of Halo Infinite. If youve never played a Halo game before, this will be a great place to jump into the story.

The engine powering the game is called "Slipspace" which 343 Industries created from scratch. Lee said it will help the company build the Halo game weve always dreamed of.

Here's hoping to it being the best Halo yet!
