Dragon Age 4 to Release Late 2023, Reportedly

More than a rumor, less than a confirmation.

Weve been waiting a while now. But we might not need to wait much longer. Dragon Age 4, the next in Biowares line of fantasy RPGs, is reportedly less than 2 years away.

Venturebeat journalist Jeff Grubb recently talked about Dragon Age 4 in their podcast, Grubbsnax. In it, they speculated at a release date for the game to be somewhere around late 2023. This lines up with recent but separate reports that the game would NOT be releasing in 2022.

Bioware has also been trickling out new teasers for the game as of late, including confirmations of characters, settings, and so on. This tracks on a marketing scale, starting small and planting the seed in peoples minds, gradually revving up the scales to get people excited. At this rate, I wouldnt be surprised if we got a larger trailer with new details at the 2022 Game Awards.

But can we trust this information? Generally speaking, its hard to trust an individual when they make claims like this. But Grubb has a reliable history and has proven to be a good beacon for expectations, even if not holding secret insider information. If they say late 2023, were inclined to believe them.
