Impressive. Most impressive.

I was in the 6th row of a completely packed ballroom in downtown Dallas, Texas. We had just waved goodbye to the streaming crowd. Large men in staff shirts began patrolling the ailes, eyeballing anyone holding a phone or camera. And we all leaned in close to make sure we didn't miss a single second of gameplay footage. That's when and where I fully fell in love with Dishonored 2.

This just made me like-like it.

Aside from E3, I have no footage to show you. I have no images to post. Me writing all of this down may even lead to me being hunted down and murdered by a Zeni Max Media Death Squad. But I was too blown away to not share the details. At E3, we were given a glance at gameplay as Emily. She sided with a troop of local thugs in taking down the Overseers. This time, we got to see another path. Corvo's path. And this time, he chose to side with the Overseers against the thugs. We were introduced to a new challenger in the form of swarming, stinging insects and their hives. We were shown how to burn them to dust. We were shown how to possess one to literally take to the skies, unhindered by gravity. We heard the rough and tumble voice of Corvo, stating his thoughts out loud. We saw new and impressive take downs. And we even saw a more advanced version of the time slowing mechanic. Instead of slow or stop, it appears that Corvo has a lot more control over his power. Now, he can alter the passage of time in the middle of the power itself.

Which is bad news for these guys.

But anyway, I have to hurry. I think they can hear my typing. Their footsteps are getting closer. If they take me, don't forgot what I did for you today. Don't forget my sacrifice.
