Dead or Alive Xtreme Game Adds Clothes Pulling

Maybe you shouldn't read this one at work.

Ah yes, Dead or Alive Xtreme. Every time this franchise comes up on my radar, I know I'm in for a fun bit of news. In a recent announcement, players can now tug on what small bits of clothing are covering these girls.

For the uninitiated, the Dead or Alive Xtreme games are a series of spin-offs that take the character of the popular fighting game and sets them in a relaxing beach setting with as little to cover themselves as possible. The player can interact with the women, earn points, purchase gifts, and try to woe them. The series has been under a long-time criticism by American audiences for its clearly sexual nature, though no actual "lewd acts" take place. This grew to the point that Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 never actually came to the United States.

DoAX3 still thrives internationally, however. In 2017, a browser-based free-to-play version of the game was released, titled Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation.

According to a recent (and somewhat scandalous) announcement trailer, Venus Vacation will be updating soon to include a brand new feature: clothes pulling. Much like that small dog in on the Coppertone logo, players can not grab certain sections of the women's clothing, and tug at them, revealing additional skin as a result. The update takes place on June 29.

Disclaimer: the following video is one of an extremely suggestive nature, and may not be suitable for viewing in public, around family, or at your place of work. You've been advised.

The developers are fully aware of the non-innocent nature of this new feature, too. As the video concludes with the hand icon over the front of one girl's bikini bottom, cutting off abruptly before anything more can happen.

While I'd love to hear how someone might justify this new feature, we all really know why it's there.
