Fortnite has secured yet another big name music star to perform a digital concert. And this time, they replace the hip hop for solid pop with Ariana Grande leading the tour.

Epic Games massively popular battle royale game will host the Rift Tour, a digital music concert that combines trending music with moments based on elements from the game. While details werent exactly revealed, we assume it works similarly to past concerts, where the game world will evolve and transform as the concert goes.

The show will star Ariana Grande, the performing artist known for songs like Thank You, Next, Seven Rings, and so on. She described the opportunity as so fun and such an honor, and that she can't wait to join my fans and see all of your reactions to such an unforgettable, magical journey to new realities.

Like before, there will be multiple showing of the concert, allowing folks with different schedules to find time to experience it for themselves. The dates and times, lasting from August 6 to August 8, are as follows.
  • Friday, August 6 - 11PM BST
  • Saturday, August 7 - 7PM BST
  • Sunday, August 8 - 5AM BST
  • Sunday, August 8 - 2PM BST
  • Sunday, August 8 - 11PM BST
Epic recommends that interested users arrive in Fortnite 60 minutes before the desired show. The Rift Tour Playlist, which connects to concert servers, will be available 30 minutes before each show.

Interestingly enough, we saw this coming. During the Epic Games v Apple lawsuit, it was revealed that Epic had plans for both an Ariana Grande and a Lady Gaga concert. Expectations are pretty high, too. The Travis Scott concert, held in April 2020, managed to gather a whopping 27.7 million players over 3 days. It will be interesting seeing if Grande can meet, or exceed, those numbers.
