Elden Ring, the collaboration between Dark Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and Game of Thrones creator George R.R Martin, was announced last year to great aplomb and literally nothing else. We saw dudes in armor, we saw a pretentious-looking fantasy kingdom, we saw the big names of the people involved… that was pretty much it.

And even now, we still don’t know much about it, save for one small yet incredibly critical bit of information: Yuka Kitamura, the musical mastermind behind the soundtracks of Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro, has confirmed that she, too, will be working on Elden Ring.

…So we may know nothing else about the game, but at least we’ll know the soundtrack will slap.

If we’ll be able to listen to it this decade, well… we have yet to see.
