Theres nothing more satisfying than getting paid after a hard days work, especially when its with someone else's money. But big rewards are only granted to those taking the big risks. Get ready to take those risks for yourself with Contraband, an upcoming heist game from Avalanche Studios.

Contraband was revealed for the first time during the Xbox Bethesda E3 showcase on Sunday. The trailer showed a slow moving camera as it moved about an unkempt commercial building. Plans and preparations for some kind of robbery are splayed about as bits of information about the game are revealed.

According to the trailer, Contraband is a co-operative, open-world game taking place in the 1970s. Our minds go to games like Payday, which while arent completely linear, aren't what we should call open-world. This makes us curious as to what they mean by open world.

Avalanche Studios, known for games like Just Cause, is making the game. While this isnt a concrete connection, it does give us reason to believe that it will be more open-world than the payday games are. It also makes us think that it will be more action-oriented than stealth based.

Well learn more about the game closer to its release date, which is currently unknown. Stay tuned.
