This is one of those times when I really wish I could tell you more, but there's so little information to be shared that this will function more like a notification than an actual news piece, so, here we go: Netflix is going to make and release a Castlevania series later this year.
Called "Castlevania Season 1, Part 1", we literally know nothing else for sure, but past hints suggest it's going to be developed by Frederator Networks, who is behind Adventure Time, and produced by Adi Shankar, who did that dark-and-edgy Power Rangers reboot film on Youtube in 2015.
And yeah, that's pretty much all we can say. We don't know if it's animated, live-action, dark and gritty or charming and fun, or even when this year it'll come out. But it's exciting nonetheless.
