Capcom the developer of fantastic new game Monster Hunter World is now giving fans a chance to go catch a real-life monster. If anyone can provide new comprehensive evidence of a real-life monster and turn it in they will receive a cash prize of £50,000. The monsters include some of the famous legends such as the Loch Ness Monster, Big Foot and Yetis. To help really bring the game to life and bring monster hunting into the real-world Capcom has hired a true monster hunter and Cryptozoologist, Jon Downes. His role will be to pick the top ten monster entries and analyze them for accuracy. As an actual Cryptozoologist he is aware that some of these monster tails can't be true but believes that with so many famous monster stories at least one of them has to be out there wondering the wilds. Hopefully in our world there aren't any Jyuratodus' or Diablos' running around and we can keep it to Mermaids and Yowies. Anyone who is able to show new evidence of any of the following monsters will win the entire bounty and be declared the world's best real-life Monster Hunter.

The monsters available for hunting are:
  • Bigfoot - The hairy ape-human hybrid that walks the Pacific Northwest of the United States.
  • Loch Ness Monster - Although we all know about this dinosaur like creature, most eye witness accounts are of something completely different and span a much farther than just one Loch in Scotland.
  • Mongolian Death Worm - This creepy crawly lives beneath the sands in the Gobi Desert and is between 2 and 5 feet long.
  • Mermaids - These terrifying looking human fish hybrids have been terrorizing sailors for hundreds of years.
  • Earth Hound - Basically a really gross dog that borrows under grave yards and eats dead people... also reported in Scottland.
  • Yeti - This is the most human of all the monsters I will be listing. A large dark haired(only white in cartoons) ape-like creature is believed to live across the Asian mountain ranges and is a primitive version of humans.
  • Chupacabra - Someone saw a sickly and malnourished dog during some weird animal death spree in Puerto Rico and gave it a scary name.
  • The Flying Snake of Namibia - A 25ft. long snake that flies and has a shiny scale in the middle of it's head.
  • Yowie - Small version of bigfoot, odd because it is reported in Australia and the only primates in Australia are humans. (Also a fun chocolate treat)
  • Cornish Owl Man - The strangest and creepiest of the list, this is a grotesque and feathered bird-man who roams the church yard in the village of Mawnan Smith in Cornwall. The sightings have been linked to a Phoenician cult who would sacrifice children to an owl god.
To claim your prize get hunting and have your evidence turned in by the 30th of June.
