Well if it isn't the consequences of Jeff Leach's actions.

Just because you voice a soldier in a video game, doesnt mean you get to talk like one. Call of Duty voice actor Jeff Leach was dropped by Activision after footage of sexist and violent comments he had made were brought to light.

Leachs aggressive and misogynistic behavior was brought to the greater publics attention recently, when content creator NitroLukeDX published a video compiling some of Leachs more offensive content together.

This included remarks made in 2017, when Leach made inappropriate comments toward female content creator Natalie ZombiUnicorn Casanova.

Activision recently issued a statement with Charlie Intel, responding to NitroLukeDXs video, condemning the behavior and announcing their separation from the voice actor.

"Sexism has no place in our industry, our games or in society. Activision is no longer working with Jeff Leach. We strongly condemn these remarks. We are committed to delivering a fun and safe experience for all players."

This is only the most recent instance of Leach being dropped by a company for his behavior. Originally a Twitch live streamer, the comments toward ZombiUnicorn led to his dismissal from the platform. After that, he migrated to Facebook Gaming for livestreaming.

Its not that hard to be nice to others. Its even easier to, at the very least, be polite and neutral. If you really cant help but be a rude jackass online, then we have no sympathy when a corporation doesnt want to be associated with you.
