Buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare DLC to Help Australia

As you are likely aware, Australia isn’t in the best situation right now, with wildfires burning across the continent while the Prime Minister is doing less than his all to combat the issue. But when governments fail, the private sector can sometimes step up, and now Infinity Ward has joined a growing number of companies who are looking to help a dire situation.

By doing what Infinity Ward does best: selling DLC.

If you happen to own a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, you can now buy the Outback Relief Pack (which was only recently called the Outback Pack), and by doing so, you’ll be contributing to relief for Australia. Infinity Ward claims that 100% of the net proceeds across all platforms will go to provide relief, so if you wanted to help Australia and get some sweet gear in the process, then this is a pretty good deal for you.

The deal goes on until January 31st. It’s also worth noting that if you already bought the Outback Pack, your money is still being donated to charity. So that’s good.

“From everyone at Infinity Ward, Call of Duty and Activision, thank you for your consideration. Our hearts go out to those who have been affected.”

If you wanted to start the day right, there’s some feel-good news for ya.
