Worried about Beyond Good & Evil 2 being cancelled?

I mean, it has been awhile since it was confirmed to be in development in 2012, and even longer since it was announced back in 2008. But, you don't need to worry about it. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed with Geoff Keighley at this year's E3 that:

"It's still on the way. It's something at one point you will see, yes. It's difficult to say [if it's being 'actively worked on']. Michel [Ancel, who's the director of the original Beyond Good & Evil and number 2] is working on it, but he's doing two games at the same time, he's doing Wild at the same time. It's coming along, but he has to spend more time on it so we can see it faster."

So, the good news is it is not cancelled, but the bad news is not even the CEO knows the progress of the title. Oh well, we may see something at next year's E3, but I wouldn't expect anything until then.
