Batman Arkham Knight Delayed Until 2015

You cannot put a deadline on vengeance

Having a Batman Arkham game to play in October has become a bit of a tradition from WB Games... but it looks like Commissioner Gordon has to put the bat signal into storage for a couple months. Batman Arkham Knight will now join WB's other big game, Mortal Kombat X, in a 2015 release window.

This doesn't come as too much of a surprise, a lot of next/new gen titles have been seeing delays to next year like Ubisoft's The Division and Sony's The Order: 1886.  Impressions of Arkham Knight during the press event that revealed the game said that while the game looks graphically amazing, the version shown to the press was suffering from major framerate issues and even crashed at one point during the demo. Considering the amount of bugs present in Arkham Origins, I'm glad that WB is giving Rocksteady some more time to make sure this will be the definitive Batman game.

Along with the delay comes a new Batmobile trailer and confirmation there were be Batmobile gameplay shown at E3. I personally find it a little funny how a giant gatling gun kind of goes against Batman's code of not using guns... but I'm sure the bad guys will get out of the way of the bullets in time.
