Remember last December when Persona teased something called Persona 5 R? At the time, all they did was tell is to wait for March. Now March is here and we have more, but not really.

Developer Atlus has released a new teaser trailer, The upcoming game is called Persona 5: The Royal. The video, running 45 seconds long, shows a red-haired girl with a red hair bow looking up at a large screen in the middle of Shibuya Crossing.

And then it tells us to wait for April 24.

Thanks to a translation by Famitsu, we know what the voice over is saying, at least. A mysterious voice is asking the woman what she thinks of the Phantom Thieves. She responds by saying that they don't think they will help the world and that you can only do that yourself in the end. This has led viewers to speculate her role in the upcoming title, either as a rival antagonist or a playable teammate.

It's worth noting that Atlus is hosting a two-day musical concert event in Tokyo on April 24-25. So whatever announcement they have planned will likely spearhead the event.

This was a teaser, teased by a teaser, leading to what will likely be another teaser.
