According to a recent update post, Ubisoft will be releasing Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered sooner than you might think.

The game company announced last September that they'd be remastering the third major title in the Assassin's Creed line of games as part of the Odyssey season pass. Now in an announcement by the company, they revealed the official release date to be March 29.

This updated version of the 2012 game will include 4K resolution and HDR support. It will have higher resolution textures and smaller tweaks to gameplay and controller support. Assassins Creed 3 Remastered will also come with all of the DLC from the original game.

It will also come with Assassins Creed 3: Liberation Remastered, an updated version of the spinoff title from 2014.

Assassin's Creed 3 follows the story of Connor, a Native American boy living in the midst of the Revolutionary War. For those who did not purchase the season pass for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the remaster will also be available as a stand-alone purchase. No price has been provided yet.
