A Hat in Time Releases Early on the NA PlayStation Market

Gears for Breakfast surprised us today with their recent hit game, A Hat in Time. Originally due for release on consoles tomorrow evening, the game released a day early on the PlayStation Store. That's now!

However, A Hat in Time will still release on the Xbox One and EU PlayStation Store tomorrow. The NA version was supposed to be among them, but the developers decided to catch us off guard with an early release. The announcement was made via the game's Twitter.

SURPRISE!!!! A HAT IN TIME releases one day early, later TODAY, on PlayStation 4 in North America! The store is up, and you will be able to purchase and download the game later today! EU PS4 and Xbox releasing tomorrow as scheduled!


A Hat in Time released last month for PC, with the description of, "A cute-as-heck 3D platformer and GameCube loveletter." It's an an apt description according to critics. In the title, you play as a young girl who was piloting her hat-shaped house through space and time in an effort to get home, when something goes wrong and she has to use her platforming skills to reclaim her scattered fuel from the planet below.

You can find A Hat in Time on Steam and the NA PlayStation market for $29.99, and on the EU PS Market and Xbox One Market tomorrow for the same price.
