Apparently were dropping in Hollywood, gang. A real life depiction of Fortnites Battle Bus has appeared at Orlando Studios Hollywood. And folks dont know why.
First discovered by Twitter by user @ThemeSnark, a real-world recreation of the Battle Bus from Fortnite has been constructed within the Orlando Studios Hollywood amusement park. While the overall intention remains unknown, Twitter user @Danny_N101 caught video asking a security guard, who simply responded with theyre planning something big.
All in all, this is a pretty unsurprising move from both Epic (the makers of Fortnite) and Universal Studios. Epic has made real life statues of Fortnite objects in the past to promote their multi-universal time-warpy theme in a past season. At the time, real-world phone booths, cop cars, and llama piñata appeared in real locations around the earth.
And even more recently, Universal has shown that theyre no stranger to working with video game companies for real-world crossovers. Not that long ago, Universal Studios Japan opened up a Super Mario World amusement park. Its done so well, in fact, that theyre already announced an expansion to the area based on Donkey Kong. Its quite possible that the areas success might be an influence toward whatever is happening here.
We will likely hear about what this will turn out as in due time. If it was super secret, it wouldnt be so openly on display, after all. Stay tuned.
