Some of you may wonder why EverQuest was the best MMORPG game that was ever developed. You are perfectly right to ask that question. We love this game and we loved it when it first came out. It was like first time tasting candy. The happiness is growing and we decided to dedicate an article to this game. Why players love this game so much?

1. Increased difficulty equals great rewards

More like psychological reward, which can be even bigger if you are playing with your friends. There is no other MMO on the market that has more obstacles to pass. With this high difficulty, of course great rewards are involved. This game envolves some very hursh penalties for dying such as loosing experience that could have taken 2 hours to make. In just one death, all of it could disappear. But the satisfaction was so big when you would level up.

2. First person perspective

The perspective played a huge role in giving you a sense of actually playing your character. This is also a reason why the game was so addicting for so many players. The camera that allowed you to see your character was not locked, and therefore, you had to play first person. So the ability of looking up and straight on at things is a very immersive feeling that most MMO`s dont have.

3. Can`t run from mobs

Again the difficulty of the game is something that most of the players enjoyed so much. In EverQuest is not possible to get away from a fight. In most of the games nowadays you can just run for 20 seconds and every mob would forget about your existence. Well, here the mobs will follow you back through the cave you came came from, across the plain you crossed and all the way to the lighthouse you were at 15 minutes ago. A mob would follow you until one of you two is dead.

4. You had to learn the game

This game was special because it would teach you how to behave in a very difficult environment. In-game strategy was something you would have to learn. It was important. If some other player would come to you and tell you a word of mouth you would be a lucky guy and this is the only way you would find things out. At that time, nobody had access to wiki websites where you could find all the information needed to farm items or kill mobs.

5. Races and kingdoms

One thing that you can be sure of about this game is that the land is not ruled by democracy methodologies. You will find yourself in the middle of a race of kingdoms. This could bring a diverse range of cities all with custom areas for each race, the dwarf city was very small, so if you were a human, you would have to crouch to fit into doorways because dwarves are small. And this is just one of the many examples we can give to you

6. Earn by playing the game

Maybe one of the the most important reasons why people love this game is because you can earn real money by playing the game. You can grind items and pieces. Most players are selling these items on marketplaces like Eldorado.gg
