343 Industries Reveals Halo 5 Gameplay, Warzone Multiplayer

Happy E3 day folks! There is much to see today, with briefings from EA, Sony, Ubisoft, and even YouTube. But what kicks off, gaming wise, for today is the Microsoft press conference, who promises a wonderful first party lineup. One of the focuses this year is Halo 5 Guardians, scheduled for release October 27, 2015. At the conference, we have taken a peak at the new multiplayer mode. Below are the the main highlights of Halo 5 we have been left with:

Opens with Master Chief declared absent without leave.
Gameplay video reveals that the game is more detailed than Halo 3. As you hunt down the Chief before he flees with the Guardian, you encounter some lively events like exploding aliens. The dialog thus far also appears authentic.
You can deliver orders to attack specific enemies.
You can pick up weapons like the Plasma Caster.
Most ambitious campaign, with seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op. Multiplayer can be up to 24 players, and massive environments four times the size of any previous multiplayer map in Halo.
Warzone is the new multiplayer mode, which appears exactly as it implies. Everything is possible in Warzone. Lots of mayhem, lots of enemies, lots of fun.

Unfortunately, the showcase of the multiplayer and the campaign is a tad underwhelming, considering Halo 5 is one of the most anticipated games of the year.
