I signed up for the FF14 Beta...Can't wait to find out if I get in!!!

I wonder if they'll ever stop making FF games, 14? lol, I lose count.

FF8 was the first one I ever played and I've been playing them ever since. I have played FF7, which some people say is the best, but I couldn't stand the graphic de-grade because I played FF10 before which has some of the best Graphics I've ever seen in a game. FF13 comes out on March 9th and FF14 comes out later this year (Q3-4). The day they stop making FF games will be a sad day, I think they happen to be some of the best RPG games ever made, and they always have amazing storylines.

FF14 has been in the pipelines for about 4 years now, they started to develop it shortly after the release and success of FF11. FF14 is the next online version of FF so releasing two in one year wouldn't be too big a problem since one of the titles has been in development for such an extensive period.

I suppose it will also make the Square Enix accounts look better since they will have released two games this year their overall sales and profits will be higher making them more attractive to investors at a time when we are leaving the recession and people will be starting to invest again...

...Don't know why I included that, it just popped in my head and I wanted to write it down.

Also, I think I may be a FF Fanboy :S

12 Was released, and in my eyes, failed misserably. They tried to introduce a new battle system which focused more on realtime but ended up just making the battles less spectacular than they should have been. Also they reduced the level of the graphics (except for in cut-scenes which always look visually amazing when made by SE), which made it look cheap...I still completed the game but found I disliked it compared to others.

David brought up the subject of the STO Beta which led to me talking about the FFXIV Beta, Not my fault! Although I do like the Title "Thread Jacking Whore!" < Think that can be my permanent tag on my display area to the left, insetad of the current "Mongooser"?
