Rockstar's Big Plans For GTA V 2015

Maybe heists will come next year

Fans have been waiting very patiently for over a year now for the release of heist in Grand Theft Auto Online. Heists were originally scheduled to be release two weeks after Online was released but that never happened. Thankfully we finally have some news of whether or not heists will ever even exist or any other game changing DLC.

Thankfully the wait is over (kind of) as Rockstar wrote on their website today;

"Heists are currently in development and we are working very hard to get them as polished and fun as they can be. Stay tuned for much more detail in the New Year"

Now although this doesn't state that the infamous heist update will be soon it does at least give somewhat of a time frame instead of hopelessly listening to youtubers like DomisLive and Icrazyteddy who every other week state that heists are the next update.

Rockstar said something else though today that confirms a rumor from earlier in the year as they wrote the following;

"For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin, and Trevor's action, mayhem, and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas."

There are still many questions to this but it defeats the rumor that the DLC was going to be prequels to the story following each of them individually in their own worlds as it says "continuing" their stories and then of course there is the fact that you had the option to kill Michael or Trevor at the end of the story. There is a lot to speculate about the game but none the less it appears this game will not be dying any time soon.
