Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Update Adds Voice Acting

Were long past the age of the silent film. And yet only now are we getting voice acting for these Nickelodeon characters. A new update to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will introduce voice acting to the main game.

Reception was mild when Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl had released. The Smash-Bros style party fighting game was commonly criticized for lacking in some of the classic cartoon flavor. The biggest example being a lack of any voice acting or in-game items. But that sits true no longer, as a new update will implement both.

According to a post by the official game Twitter account, a new update will introduce both voice acting and items into the game. And best of all: many of the characters original voice actors are filling the roles. This includes well-known names like Tom Kenny (Spongebob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Janet Varney (Korra) and Jim Cummings (Shredder, Catdog). A separate post listed the entire cast with their chosen voice actors.

Last month, the developers announced three new characters that would be joining the game roster as DLC. This included Hugh (Jimmy Neutron), Jenny XJ-9 (My Life as a Teenage Robot) and Rocko (Rockos Modern Life). We can safely assume that these characters will also have voice acting when they release in the near future.

The update should be available now on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, with it releasing on Nintendo Switch soon.
