Here's a question for Star Wars gamers: Are you prepared for Star Wars Battlefront when it releases November 17? Before you frantically nod your head, the word "prepared" needs to be emphasized. By "prepared," you have your Darth Vader-themed PlayStation 4, Disney Infinity Star Wars collectable figures, and your Star Wars Play Arts figures. Have all that?

If you do, you're still not prepared, because there's another Star Wars-themed item heading to shelves: a sandtrooper headset! Turtle Beach has teamed up with EA to produce the gaming headset perfectly suited for the highly anticipated Battlefront game.

And according to Turtle Beach Corporation CEO Juergen Stark, the fanatics at the company couldn't exactly contain their excitement for the development:

"With as many Star Wars fanatics as we have at Turtle Beach, it's been hard to not let the droid out of the bag about this unique gaming headset. Our top-quality gaming headsets allow us to work with the biggest brands in the world, and we're very happy to continue our ongoing collaboration with Lucasfilm and EA to support Star Wars Battlefront. We're also excited about this great opportunity with our U.S. retail partner, Best Buy, to offer the Sandtrooper headset to fans looking to collect limited edition Star Wars gear and fully immerse themselves in the audio landscape that can only be served-up through the Star Wars universe."

The headset resembles the squad of Stormtroopers who donned the orange shoulder pauldron when they were deployed to Tatooine in search of Luke and Co. These headsets are quite limited and can only be pre-ordered at Best Buy. What comes with this headset is a removable high-sensitivity boom microphone and two sets of speaker plates. Additionally, the headset features an over-ear design for extended comfort and 50mm speakers to "deliver sound the way Star Wars is meant to be heard."

For those in the UK, Australia, and select European territories, there will be a standard edition of the headset, but it does not seem to be available for pre-order yet.

The gaming headset is compatible with the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile/tablet devices. The standard version will be sold at an MSRP of £69.99 GBP, in Australia at an MSRP of $169.00 AUD, and in some European countries at an MSRP of 99.99 EUR. For Americans, the limited edition headset will be exclusive to Best Buy at an MSRP of $99.95.

Both headsets are set for release in the fall alongside the launch of Star Wars Battlefront, but in the meantime, those attending PAX Prime will be able to take a gander at the headset at the Turtle Beach Booth (#442).
