A brand-new Battlefield is going to be announced this week, if you haven’t heard although since we saw a brand-new Call of Duty you probably could have safely assumed that, as those two IP’s are always nipping at each other’s heels like a pair of chihuahuas in heat.

Well, while we have yet to figure out if this new Battlefield will also take place in space (or if it’ll receive the hate that Infinite Warfare seems to be getting), EA is preemptively celebrating the announcement with a pretty cool little promotion: from now till May 10th, you can grab expansions to both Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline for free.

Specifically, you can download Dragon’s Teeth and the Robbery expansion, which you can pick up and download on your Origin account. EA promises that as as we get closer to the release of the next Battlefield, more and more expansions will also be made free… which is a pretty cool deal, I must say.

We’ll learn more about Battlefield 5 (or whatever) tomorrow.
