Computer Science vs. Information Systems

Hey guys It's been a pretty long time since I've posted something here, but I'm back (again). I have stumbled upon a great problem that won't stop bugging me, and I need everyone's help in deciding. In a few months, I will be off to college. I've picked Bachelor of Science in Computer Science as my College Program, but I'm not so sure if I should pursue it because most of the people I have talked to told me that the course has a lot of Mathematics and theories and such involved with it. I was considering changing my choice from Computer Science to Information Systems which has less Mathematics and is more practical (more programming stuff than Computer Science), but IMO is just too easy to be pursued. I'm really having a difficulty picking one of the two and I hope you guys can give me some light on the subject. Thank you in advance for all the help you're gonna give me

A CS degree would help guide you into a career of programming and development. While and Information Technology degree is more business oriented. It would help you get a Management type position more easily. I'd suggest it. And welcome back, sorry for the slow response as I don't scroll down to see this forum as much.

Yeah I think I'm gonna switch from Computer Science to Information Systems. I have weighed down the pros and cons of each and I think Information Systems will suit me best. Thanks for the reply, bro. Still can't believe I'm going to college
