A lot of FPS games have started to really play down the single player opting for the multiplayer element, but games should really have both, especially for the amount that people have to pay nowadays. Developers need to buck up their ideas and get into the mindset that the single player is just as important as multiplayer, no matter what the genre.
Ditto.
I used to play games for their single player back in the day, because that's all I could do with 56K internetz....Now it's like single player is omitted, or just an afterthought in many of these games released today. Well to be fair, most of them are geared for multiplayer, so really, they don't even need a single player campaign.
