This was a very good movie. It really shines a light on how low some people can go, on how bad people can be. D9 really grips you emotionally and doesn't let go. Some have said, "Oh, it's another Cloverfield", that's the furthest from the truth. It's shot documentary style which is different and that style is only present through the first 1/4 of the movie and then it switches to a more normal style.
I read that the lead actor improved all of his lines. Damn that's impressive.
The only bad part would be the initial 10 minutes of the movie. It sets things up but the lead actor seemed a bit whiny during that period. After that, he really took over the role though.

Ok, I saw this a couple days ago and in my opinion the movie was actually very good. I think they did an amazing job on it and the lead actor did a great job. He really surprised me with how he developed over the entire thing and I really like that.
Also, this movie is nothing like Cloverfield. Like... not even close.
My only complaint is that "first ten minutes" is far more than ten minutes and the camera action made me wanna throw up a little bit in between the documentary type moments that made me want to take a nap. If you get beyond those bits though, the movie improves a great deal and really ends up being worth sitting through the crap for.
