ID are Launching Quake-Live soon, which if you didn't know is a free remake of Quake 3 arena, but its meant to run off all systems as long as they can access a web browser, for more info check out this article at Internode.

Hmm, I don't know, although I have seen this concept before with another game, although it was a game some guy just "made up". It was a shooter and browser based.
Btw, I forgot to make the GU News more locked down. Meaning, you can only reply to topics posted there since only Admins can post the news.

It's ok, don't worry about it, my fault for not getting the section the way it should have been to start. Thinking about shooting something though is making me want to shoot something so off to Halo 3 I am.
