If you're a fan of fighting tournaments, get ready for a large helping of Mortal Kombat X to be shoved down your throat. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios, in cooperation with ESL, have announced the Who's Next? Mortal Kombat X Worldwide Competitive Program, which includes the Fatal 8 Exhibition Tournament, Mortal Kombat X ESL Pro League Tournament, and the Mortal Kombat Cup.

The entire series invites Mortal Kombat X players from both North America and Europe to participate in a fierce competition with a prize pool beginning at $100,000. Fatal 8 Exhibition Exhibition Tournament will launch the program on April 11th, 2015, and fans can tune into the Twitch stream or attend the tournament live at the ESL studios in Burbank, California via ticket purchase.

After Fatal 8 comes Mortal Kombat X ESL Pro League, beginning on April 19th. The competition, only open to Xbox One players, will feature weekly competitions with cash prizes. For a final showdown, 16 players will be attending the grand finals on July 11th in Los Angeles.

The final tournament is the Mortal Kombat Cup, a series of live tournaments taking place in 17 international territories. The competition will begin in April and run through June, with finals taking place at the Japan Expo in Paris on July 5th.

For more information on the tournaments, you can visit here. For those interested in supporting MKX combatants, you can purchase the Blue Steel Sub-Zero skin from the site. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the prize pools.

Mortal Kombat X will arrive on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices on April 14th.
