I know MOBAs aren't exactly my strength, but it's worth mentioning that DOTA 2 has grown even more popular in the competitive scene. The 2017-2018 DOTA 2 season is kicking off and will feature 11 Majors and 16 Minors that "all offer Qualifying Points to determine the eight direct invites to The International."

What will also be new to the season is that Coaches are now can stand by the players' sides throughout the duration of the pre-game draft phase. In fact, Coaches are encouraged to engage in in-draft discussions with their teams. However, once the draft has been concluded, the Coaches must leave.

Of course, the official site illustrates the Qualifying Points process, but well... we're seeing an increase in events, that's for certain.
