E3 2018 is nearly here. It's close enough to have finalized their official schedule, at least. But the good information takes place BEFORE the event. Here's the low down on all of the event's biggest hosts, when, where you can watch it online, and what to expect.

The event officially starts on June 12 (Tuesday), 11 AM PT. That's when the Los Angeles Convention Center opens to the public. Before then, many major publishers will be hosting their own "pre-E3" shows, going as far back as the Saturday prior. Here are these press conferences, listed in chronological order.
Saturday, June 9, 11 AM PT
Electronic Arts

The major publisher will be hosting their press event first. It takes place at the Hollywood Palladium, in Los Angeles at the above time. We're expecting to hear more about the recently announced Battlefield game, BioWare's Anthem, as well as the latest iterations of EA Sports titles. EA will be live streaming the conference on YouTube and Twitch, as well as posting the news as it comes to their website and social media.

Sunday, June 10, 1 PM PT
Microsoft Xbox

Microsoft has been talking a big game this year, claiming this will be their biggest E3 yet. They're live streaming their press conference from their recently established Microsoft Theater, which is right across the road from the LA Convention Center. We can expect another Halo and another Forza, while rumors of a new Gears of War float in the air. They've kept quiet otherwise. You can watch the event live on their YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer channels.

Sunday, June 10, 6:30 PM PT

After Microsoft comes Bethesda. The developer/publisher will be holding their "BE3" press conference from LA, previewing the latest games from under their umbrella. We can absolutely expect to see more relating to Rage 2, but everything else remains an uncertainty. Given the focus we've seen on this title, it's not unreasonable to expect little else of equal power from this one. There will likely be something relating to Elder Scrolls Online, as well. You can watch this live on their Twitch, YouTube, and Twitter.

Sunday, June 10, 8 PM PT
Devolver Digital

The final show on Sunday, Devolver Digital intends to broadcast their own conference. The Indie publisher extraordinaire promises real, actual game reveals and technological innovations from Devolver Labs. This is likely a jab at the unexpectedly satirical conference they held last year, where players literally threw money at their screens. Whether or not they actually intend to announce serious developments, or they are riding full force into the humor, it's sure to be a worthwhile show. They'll be live streaming the event on Twitch's very own Twitch channel.

Monday, June 11, 10 AM PT
Square Enix

Starting off the work week right, the Japanese RPG developer will be hosting a special video presentation, instead of a traditional press conference. This will be the first E3 they've done in three years. We can expect to hear more information about Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Octopath Traveller, and most importantly, Kingdom Hearts 3. The video will be live streamed on Twitch, YouTube, and Mixer. You can also track their announcements on Twitter.

Monday, June 11, 1 PM PT

The Canadian company will be hosting their own press conference mid-day Monday at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown LA. We will most likely see more about Tom Clancys The Division 2, and many people are hoping for more information regarding Beyond Good & Evil 2. Though having kept tight lips, it's anyone's guess as to what they actually have planned. It might even be a new Assassin's Creed announcement. You can watch the event on their Twitch and YouTube channels.

Monday, June 11, 3 PM PT
PC Gaming Show

Surprise, this one is going to be pretty PC game heavy. For their fourth year in a row, the PC Gamer hosted event will be taken place at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Those in the area can apply for free live tickets on the official website. There will be a focus on "the future of PC gaming." They have not stated if the event will be broadcast live or not, but it might be good to keep an eye on their Twitch and YouTube anyway.

Monday, June 11, 6 PM PT
Sony PlayStation

The heavy hitter for Monday, Sony is all geared up to cap the day off. The company has invested greatly in a number of major titles like Death Stranding, Marvels Spider-Man, The Last of Us Part 2, and more. They also stated that they're giving a special focus on PlayStations third-party publishing partners and indie studios. You can watch the event live on their YouTube, Twitch, and on their website.

Tuesday, June 12, 9 AM PT

With Nintendo historically doing whatever they want, It's hard to predict what they have to announce. They'll be hosting a Nintendo Direct the morning before E3 opens up. That's where we will hear about the newest releases and titles. After that will be a Nintendo Treehouse event live from the E3 floor. There's a fair chance we will hear more about the upcoming Super Smash Bros game, especially considering there will be an Invitational for the game happening later that day. Otherwise, you can see for yourself on the company's Twitch, YouTube, and website.

Tuesday, June 12, After-Nintendo's-Presentation O'Clock
The Super Smash Bros. Invitational 2018/Splatoon 2 World Championship Finals

After their presentation, Nintendo will be hosting the Splatoon 2 World Championship finals and a Super Smash Bros. Invitational. The titles explain the events well enough. Though with one of the games not having released yet, many are excited to see what new information can be parsed from the event. Expect some impressive competitive plays in both games. You can watch those from the same links as provided in Nintendo's listing above.

Sometime During E3
Epic Games Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am

Epic Games is hosting a special event, where 50 pro gamers will be pit against 50 celebrities in a game of Fortnite: Battle Royale. Little information is available about the event. We don't even have an official start time for this one. As for which pros/celebrities, it's anyone's guess, but most people are assuming both Drake the rapper, and Ninja will be a part of it.

After this, E3 will have begun, where you can explore all the various booths set up by triple-A and indies alike. Expect a plethora of swag, secrets, and hands-on gameplay experiences at the convention. Surely a good time to be had by all. Just make sure you wear deodorant.
