Stifled is a unique horror concept from Gattai Games. There aren't many clear details about the game other than it is entirely based on sound. However, lucky players will get a chance to experience what Stifled is all about. Gattai Games is taking Stifled to PAX West to show off what it can do. Until then, below is the first (and so far only) trailer.

Well, Vectors are horrifying.

The mechanics of the game seem simple. Players can only see when sound waves bounce off of their surroundings. So it's kind of like a Daredevil thing, just your only other power is overwhelming terror. The theme of sound and noise doesn't end there, though. Whatever Lovecraftian horror lurks in the game is drawn to sound as well. The trailer clearly shows some tentacled creature inching toward the source of noise in the center of the room. Also, the game is mic-enabled, which means only one thing. Players will have to keep completely silent while playing unless they want to become something's midnight snack.
