A few new characters have been revealed to be part of Jump Force, the anime mashup battle game announced at this year's E3. This includes fighters from One Piece and Hunter X Hunter.

According to V-Jump, a popular Japanese manga and video game magazine, four new characters have been confirmed for the game, as well as a new stage. The battle sage will be Planet Namek, complete with Statue of Liberty, is based on Dragon Ball Z lore. The magazine also details a new feature, where fighters' clothing will rip and tear as fights progress.

The first few characters revealed were Gon Freecss and Hisoka Morow, from the Hunter X Hunter series. Gon is the manga's young protagonist, who became a hunter in hopes of finding his father. Hisoka, the former Phantom Troupe member, brandishes a deck-of-card-themed outfit. He is looking for a strong enough opponent and is willing to spare those with enough potential in hopes they will become stronger.

The magazine also reveals two new One Piece fighters, Marshall D. Teach and Sanji. Teach, otherwise known as Blackbeard, is the admiral of his own fleet in the wild world of pirates. His large build is nearly twice the size of Luffy's. Sanji is a more familiar name to the series. He is one of the earliest Straw Hat pirates and operates as the crew's cook. His combat style is exclusive with the use of his legs and feet.

Jump Force will be releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019.
