Oh Rocket League, the fame just won't stop with you. A popular title among LAN gamers at QuakeCon and considerably one of the top "comfort foods" of gamers everywhere, Rocket League has been earning a lot of popularity... for good reason.

Explosions, speed, RC cars, physics and soccer, all combined into one creates an unforgettable experience that players simply can't put down. Personally, I didn't even know of the title until it was referred to me, and since then, I spread the word, accompanied with the phrase "PLAY WITH ME," to many friends.

So here's a bit of a fun fact: Rocket League has surpassed 5 million downloads in less than a month. In fact, it's only been 22 days since its July 7 release date. Alongside the announcement, the official Twitter account also sends its thanks for the support:

"AMAZING! More than 5 MILLION downloads since we launched on July 7! Your continued support for our game is truly humbling. Thank you."

Additionally, in celebration of the milestone, the account teases us with an add-on map screen, which looks pretty cool, if I do say so myself. Congratulations to Psyonix for the milestone! They deserve it!

Rocket League is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
