Sure, everyone's talking about Google's new video game venture, Stadia. But they aren't the only corporate giant making a dive into the industry - Walmart is reportedly looking into their own video game streaming service.

According to anonymous sources at USgamer.net, superstore chain Walmart is looking into creating their own video game streaming service. Little details were given about the nature of the service, but Walmart is allegedly speaking with developers and publisher over the last few months over the idea, including at the 2019 Game Developers Conference.

The project has been kept under fairly heavy wraps it seems. It's not clear how far in development the service is currently.

Amazon has been pushing into Walmart's territory for a while now. This would definitely be a chance to get the leg up on the retail kingpin.

Stay tuned as the story develops.
