Ubisoft announced today what exactly is coming to Rainbow Six Siegenewest expansion, Operation Para Bellum. What we have found out is that not only will it be taking place in a gorgeous Italian Villa map, but this is also one of the largest content updates yet for the game. The two new operators, dubbed Alibi and Maestro, as well as the new map, Villa, are coming, and a new meta might be coming with them. Some major changes and additions are also on their way: a new intel gadget, operator changes, and the new Pick and Ban setting. All of this will be available in June 2018.

On the 20th map in Siege history, two Italian operators join Rainbow to take down a murderous crime family: the Vinciguerras. After the smugglers escaped to their retreat, sources inform them of Operation Para Bellum. As a result, they flee, leaving valuable intel behind.

Alibi and Maestro are both members of the Gruppo di Intervento Speciale, also known as G.I.S. Alibi has the ability to send out realistic holograms to confuse her opponents, and Maestro has the ability to deploy a bullet-proof turret that can detect and shoot enemies with low powered laser beams.

Some other big updates are coming to Siege, including deployable bulletproof cameras for defenders, dropshotting adjustments, sight alignment changes, and Echo and Clubhouse map buffs. To get an early look at these new content changes, check out the test server on May 22 and look out for Operation Para Bellum to release officially, sometime in June 2018.
