Nintendo's Wii U may soon face extinction, as is evident with the announcement of Nintendo's upcoming console, the NX. Excitingly, details on Nintendo's NX have surfaced earlier this morning.

Unexpectedly sudden, but undeniably amazing. Sadly, Nintendo has not released the concept images, but the developers have at least discussed these features:
  • A sleek design available in several colors and themes, including teal, gray, pink, tiger striped, and SNES-themed
  • Official cover plates, similar to the 3DS cover plates released in Japan
  • Equipped with Nintendo-developed virtual reality technology: 4K resolution headsets and movement-tracking gloves
  • Nintendo's Streaming Service: similar to PlayStation's Vue and Sling TV and is rumored to have plans cheaper than Sling TV
  • Option to connect to Nintendo mobile-supported phones - now phones can be controllers!
  • Backwards compability with Wii U and Wii games
  • 4K Resolution Support
  • 128GB internal flash memory
  • NVIDIA based GPU
  • Intel i7 processor
Seems too good to be true, doesn't it?

The NX actually stands for Nintendo Extreme, so we have to wonder how extreme this console actually is.

Well, prepare for a mind explosion!

The developers have promised that all first-party game characters will be granted one of the two traits in their respective games: constant, spontaneous combustion that will cause occasional loss of control (come on, they're on fire), or random skateboard appearances for use. Finally, the difficulty of all first party games will be similar to Bloodborne's difficulty, in order to appeal further to hardcore gamers.

We are likely to see the release of the NX sometime in 2018.

And if you have still somehow believed ANYTHING in this article, then happy April Fools' Day!
