Calling all Nintendo 64 fans!

Or those who wished there were fans of the Nintendo 64. I know I'm one of those - never was able to own a Nintendo 64.

Well, here is some good news, though we have no news regarding the SNES Classic pre-order yet. Nintendo has recently filed a trademark application for the Nintendo 64 controller in Europe. This could very well mean that a Nintendo 64 Classic Mini is in the works. How so? Why, we've seen patents for the NES Controller and the SNES Controller, and the mini has been born of each patent, so this will probably be happening down the road. And we're talking about next year, not this year.

If that's the case, you better ready your bots, because the fight will be on for this classic console.

Thanks, NeoGAF!
