Phoenix Wright has been around for close to two decades now, and while the later games are certainly enjoyable, they lack that timeless, persistent quality that the original games still enjoy. The rivalry between Phoenix Wright and his childhood friend Miles Edgeworth is an energy that fans and non-fans alike still enjoy and parody to this day, which is why it's not surprising that in the years since people have released countless parody videos of the two of them arguing over the dumbest crap on the planet.
Fortunately, youtubers need not labor with video editing software any longer: because a fellow named Micah Price created a bot that will automatically turn any argument on reddit into a spirited debate between Phoenix and Edgeworth, objections and all.
Here's an example video so you can witness it in action.
It's fairly straightforward: the bot will assign the people who comment the most frequently as Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth, respectively. Everyone else who contributes to the debate will be assigned random roles, such as Maya or the judge. Punctuation and comment score will determine people's expressions, and if there's an "objection" before the comment is read.
Easy, clever, and hilarious. This is the kind of stuff we need if we're gonna make it through this year, ladies and gentlemen.
