While Destiny has quite a bit of PlayStation exclusive content, Microsoft is doing what it can to incentivize players to get the game on Xbox One.

Pre-ordering Destiny on Xbox One through Microsoft’s online store by September 5th (this Friday) will ensure players get the game when it comes out next Tuesday through guaranteed launch day shipping. Getting the game through Microsoft's store will also get you a $10 gift card for Xbox Live digital purchases, such as the upcoming Destiny DLC The Dark Below.

If you pre-order the game digitally through the Xbox Live Marketplace, you’ll be able to pre-load the game and have it ready to go at midnight.

If you’re hesitant to buy the Xbox One version over the PlayStation 4 in fear that it will be an “inferior” version, Bungie has spoken out about Destiny’s quality across consoles, saying that the Xbox One version won’t be “dumbed down” on the weaker console.

Destiny is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 9th. For more on Bungie’s highly-anticipated follow-up to Halo, check out Gamerz Unite’s preview.
