Gamespot had the unique experience to talk to hip-hop legend Method Man about his gaming history and how he's going to be doing some voice acting for the next Call of Duty DLC. Call of Duty is known to have celebrity cameos, and they even have Snoop Dogg do some voice acting for Call of Duty Ghosts so it's not that surprising that Method Man will be making an appearance in the next DLC.

While not surprising, I personally had no idea that Method Man was a gamer, and he has some pretty awesome stories to tell about his gaming experiences. Apparently, Method Man is part of a clan that played SOCOM, and Method Man was a die-hard fan of the game. He explained how his clan leader switched over to Call of Duty, and the rest of his clan followed. Meth was pretty skeptical of switching to Call of Duty, but he eventually did and never went back. Meth and his clan started with Call of Duty: Black Ops, and he said that he quickly understood the game and started to play at an efficient level, compared to how he used to play which was camping. Everybody is a little guilty of occasional camping, especially in games like COD.

Method Man even shared some of his favorite gaming experiences with Gamespot, including how he made a clutch play in search and destroy against some cocky sh*t talkers and even his first ever 10 kill streak. This took me back to good memories because I can remember making similar achievements in my Call of Duty days, and they definitely felt really rewarding at the time.

"dude was talking mega s***. This is just what one dude, though. I think I was the last person left and it was two guys on the opposing team left, I mean, my team was watching and they was pretty much like "We lost this round." And I murdered both those dudes. Like, it was luck but I got both and it was justice for them talking s*** through the whole game! They were just like, you know, Noob, and the s*** they usually just chat in multiplayer."

Meth said that he was pretty stoked when he received the call and put everything on hold to do the voice acting for this upcoming DLC/voice pack. He explained that he's getting quite a bit of creative freedom to add his own style to the characters. Having played the game, he knows a lot of the lingo, even though he hasn't been able to play the latest game extensively because of his acting career. Anyway, this Gamespot interview was a great read and if you're a fan of Method Man like I am, I definitely recommend going through it.
